He is the founder and director of the Center and director of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at UAMS.
He has spent his entire research career to studying the interactions between the endocrine, hematolymphopoietic, and skeletal systems. His current research focus is on the actions of estrogens and androgens on bone and the development of new bone anabolic therapeutics.
